Like most organisations we’ve had to change how we do things at The Association Management Company in 2020. We’ve introduced remote working, which has meant more team meetings and enhanced our project management systems.
However, the one thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to helping our clients. At the very start of the pandemic, we wrote about how we had been providing essential support for trade associations. You can read our blog on that here.
Eight months on and we are still issuing regular eshots and industry-specific updates for all of our clients For one, we have very recently written and sent our 100th eshot of 2020 which is more than the previous four years combined. By our estimations a total of 11 weeks worth of work has been put into producing these eshots thanks to the wealth of information included in each campaign. Find out more about communications expertise here.
We have represented another of our clients on task forces and working groups to challenge the government for more targeted support to support their industry. This work has involved collecting data from members, coming up with new initiatives and approaching the right departments.
Since March we have been keeping our document covering the latest Covid-19 regulations up-to-date and we are now on version 73. The document looks at crucial issues such as whether workers can visit other people’s homes, whether or not shops can open and if manufacturing can continue.
This is across all four home nations of the UK and the Republic of Ireland. This has proven to be an excellent resource for members as it saves them a huge amount of time trawling through the guidelines from the government. It goes without saying that we have received fantastic feedback from members about this document.
We’ve managed to undertake all of this and much more while maintaining an efficient and effective back office service. Calls, emails, invoices, admin, meetings, and membership – you name it, we have it sorted.
